Join the experiment.
We hire people who measure before they believe. Empirith runs experiments across ten fields from Chennai — if you want your work judged by evidence rather than opinion, you will fit right in.
The models every other instrument depends on.
You’ll build and train the models the rest of the lab runs on — perception for our field sensors, forecasting for the wet-lab pipelines, and automation for experiments that have to be reproducible. Expect to own the full loop, from data to deployment, and to be judged on whether your models survive real data, not just benchmarks.
From bench to organism scale — and the data behind it.
You’ll design assays and take measurements from the bench up to organism scale, then build the data pipelines that make those results hold up outside the lab. Controls and replicates are the default here; you’ll pre-register outcomes and work shoulder to shoulder with the ML and hardware teams on new instrumentation.
The lab’s own sensors and field instruments.
You’ll design, build and calibrate the lab’s own sensors and field instruments — the electronics, firmware and enclosures that have to survive dust, heat and real deployments, not just the bench. You’ll close the loop between what we can measure and what the models need to learn.
Field pilots, ground truth, datasets that hold up.
You’ll run field pilots with growers: deploying sensors, collecting ground truth, and turning messy real-world farm conditions into datasets that decisions can safely rest on. You’ll live between the lab and the field, owning data quality from the soil all the way to the spreadsheet.
No opening that fits? We read every unsolicited note — state plainly what you would measure first. Bring us a hard question →
